Percentage worksheet generator.
Make a printable percentage worksheet in a few clicks: pick the question types, the difficulty and how many questions, then print it with a full answer key.
The same sheet code and settings always give the same questions, so you can share the link or reprint the sheet later. In the print dialog, choose “Save as PDF” to keep a copy.
Choose the question types and difficulty, then print. Each worksheet comes with a separate answer key that shows the full working for every question, and the sheet code lets you print the same set again.

What’s on each worksheet
Every sheet has a title, name and date lines, and numbered questions with space for the answer. A second page is the answer key: each question with its answer and the working, step by step, so students can check where they went wrong and not just whether they did.
Question types
- X% of Y: “What is 15% of 80?”
- X is what % of Y: “12 is what percent of 80?”
- X is Y% of what: “12 is 15% of what number?”, the reverse question students find hardest
- Increase or decrease a number by a percentage, and percent change between two numbers
- Discounts and tips, with prices in dollars and cents
Pick one type for focused practice, or several for a mixed review. Questions rotate through the types you choose, so a 20-question sheet with four types has five of each.
Difficulty levels
Whole numbers chooses numbers so the core answers come out whole: 15% of 80 rather than 15% of 83. Decimals uses rates like 12.5% and 8.25% and asks for answers to two decimal places. Word problems puts the same math into short everyday situations: quiz scores, deposits, sale prices and restaurant bills.
Reprinting the same sheet
The sheet code is a seed: the same code with the same settings always produces the same questions, in the same order. Share the link with a class, print a fresh copy next week, or give a student the answer key later. Click “New sheet” for a different set.
Printing
“Print or save as PDF” opens your browser’s print dialog with only the worksheet and answer key on the page, at A4 or US Letter size. Choose a printer, or “Save as PDF” to keep a file. The sheets are black and white and print cleanly on any printer.
